Acceptable Use Policy
LeadMela is for contacting businesses about offers that are relevant to them. When you use it you agree not to:
- Send messages to people who unsubscribed, replied STOP or asked not to be contacted, or remove or hide the unsubscribe link.
- Use WhatsApp or SMS automation for contacts who did not opt in, or break the rules of WhatsApp, Meta, LinkedIn, Twilio or your email provider.
- Send deceptive, misleading or impersonating content, phishing, malware, or content about illegal goods and services.
- Collect or use sensitive personal data (health, finance, government IDs) or contact consumers rather than businesses without a lawful basis.
- Buy or import contact lists you have no right to use, or harvest data from sites that forbid it.
- Get around plan limits, rate limits or security controls, or resell access without an agency plan.
You are responsible for following the laws that apply to your messages, such as India's DPDP Act, CAN-SPAM and TCPA in the United States, and GDPR in Europe. LeadMela provides tools that help (unsubscribe handling, suppression lists, consent records, quiet hours) but does not make your campaigns compliant on its own.
We may pause campaigns or suspend workspaces that cause high bounce or complaint rates or that break this policy.
